Job Description

  • Provide excellent customer service to foreign investors.
  • Guide foreign investors on market entrance requirements.
  • Review clients’ documents to apply for Securities Trading Code.
  • Perform account screening, request account opening, maintenance including changing information/ custodian etc. Follow up with internal departments until opening/maintenance is completed.
  • Prepare account confirmation per clients’ request, eg for public offerings, off-exchange transactions, etc…
  • Prepare monthly report on account opening/ closing/ translation, weekly reports.
  • Keep track of MT599/ documents and update Account Tracking sheet, Instruction sheets.
  • Monitor dormant accounts/ POA expiry and advise Client Service Manager.

Job Requirement

  • For HSBC internal candidate only
  • Ideally 6 months (15 Oct 2017 to 15 Apr 2018) but we can be flexible for 3 months (15 Oct 2017 – 15 Jan 2018) and (15 Jan 2018 – 15 Apr 2018)
  • Good knowledge on core banking system
  • Good verbal and written communication in English
  • Motivated, positive and eager to learn
