We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of VP Business Transformation, RBWM
- Responsible for the alignment with the RBWM TBM/TOM through successful implementation of new initiatives and business improvement to deliver a cost efficient business operating at a high level of operational effectiveness working to deliver a customer centric business model.
- Responsible for working with RBWM business owners in Country and other stakeholders/support functions to identify opportunities to make the business more efficient and identify cost savings, which can be subsequently validated and can be tracked to generate expected savings
- Own and be accountable for driving the in country transformation of the business from its present day state to the future TOM leveraging new technology and digital platforms
- Accountable for the ownership of the plan to deliver transformation to the TBM and achievement of the milestone activities to timeline and budget.
- Be the catalyst for driving the digital agenda for RBWM
- Engage with Group and Regional stakeholder to identify best practices and opportunities to capitalize on emerging technology, industry and customer trends.
- Ensure close relationship with Regional and Local teams that are responsible for respective TOM’s – engaging direct in-country support as necessary to ensure implementation.
- Drive the use of cross border best practices when designing and implementing strategy.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Management experience or equivalent.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong communications, project management, organizational, lateral thinking, strategic planning, analytical, mathematical, decision-making, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proven track record in leading and managing change, particularly given the organization’s continually evolving nature
- Strong business acumen and ability to continually make trade-off decisions.
- Ability to seek out and improve on best practice and capability.
- Sound understanding of the HSBC business, network, customer segments, products offered and competitive market.
- Ability to build long-term relationships with all stakeholders (employees, peers, etc.)
