JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Ensure all requests from RMs (via Mail & Phone) to be handled according to SLA
  • Anticipate customer needs and proactively offers solutions and alternatives in resolving problems
  • Ensure pending cases to be addressed to responsible team-mates timely in order to follow up with missing documents and complete the case within agreed time-line
  • Assist RMs in meeting KPI plans which include net increases in assets, net increases in gross revenue (TOI, HORIS, NII/NFI ratio), net increase in liabilities, acquisition of new customers, monthly call program, net-working functions, document express and follow-up.
  • Assist RM in preparing credit annual review for existing customers and new credit proposals for new acquired customers.
  • Maximise positive returns and grow the Bank’s share of wallet from designated portfolio by applying appropriate interest rates on deposits and fees on banking services rendered that reflect the existing and potential value of the customer to Bank
  • Grow the customer portfolio and cross-sell Group services by working and co-operating with colleagues to win new business
  • Provide need-based solutions and cross-selling the full range of HSBC services to existing and potential customers
  • Provide good services to customers by timely addressing their concerns in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with relevant parties/departments to find the best solutions for customers
  • Well know CMB products and understands thoroughly all internal procedures related to the products. Proactively raises opinions to Team Leader to strengthen these procedures and ensure smooth workflow
  • Drive and strengthen the culture of openness and teamwork, dependable and responsible and fairness within the team
  • Proactively participate in Bank/ CMB activities.
  • Maintain and ensure due observance of HSBC Internal Control Standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal / external auditors and external regulators.
  • Remain compliant with and ensures awareness of Audit and Group requirements and other internal guidelines. Ensures strict compliance with government banking regulations. Timely implement internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators

JOB REQUIREMENT
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial banking experience.
  • Practical experience and attendance of relevant courses.
  • Familiarity with various computer systems/applications software
  • Ability to communicate, identify and analyse customer requirements, provide and sell need-based solutions to customers effectively
  • Language skills: English is a must. On top of that, Chinese or Korean is a plus
