JOB PURPOSE
- To organize and control all activities related to CR and adapt to IT’s process and objective.
- Golive management and approval (CR and projects of medium and high complexity); analyze and evaluate the impacts of changes to minimize the risks and impacts of the changes caused.
- Control change activities on IT systems according to VPBank Change Management process.
- Evaluate and build lessons learned after each release.
- Proposing continuous improvement of change management activities, in line with the actual conditions of the IT sector
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
- Organize and plan the process of CR
- BAU Responsibilities
- Handles escalated issues; identifies the root cause of failed changes
Initiates both technical and operating changes to improve team members change assessment, department’s working procedures and IT processes
Other tasks
OUTCOMES/ MEASURES
- Make a general plan for CR and project evaluation according to each release period.
- Promote go-live planning for each CR project.
- Plan/incoordinate a pre-CAB meeting (working level discussion) to assess the impact of the project and important CR.
- Plan to review and evaluate go-live results at each release period.
- Process improvement planning, change implementation guidelines for IT
- Analyze and evaluate the impact of CR on Customers, Business Units, IT systems… before go live in Production/Live environment, according to VPBank Change Management process.
- Participating in the incident and CR go-live fail review meetings to find the root cause and lesson learnt for next CR.
- Involve CAB meeting (if CRs under in charge) need get approval from CAB, incoordinate with requester (who raise change) in that meeting for clarify and supporting
- Implement go live approval for eligible CRs, ensuring to minimize negative impacts and incidents caused by the change.
- Summarize assessment of go live activities in the period and build lessons learned for cases of go live failure, causing incident.
- Contributing, analyzing the weak points in the Change Management process, and guiding the implementation to come up with ideas for improvement.
- PIM support: evaluate request privilege account permission to prod system and grant access (available as request from Lead of Change Management team)
- Recommend annual process improvements.
- Proactively identify the issue and organize to resolve issues related to CR activities.
- Work with Change Management Lead to improve CR process continuously.
- Involve with some project related with job: Such as ITSM/CMDB project (if have).
CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Banking, IT; ITIL certification is preferable

Relevant Knowledge/ Expertise
- Knowledge or ability to learn in IT fields (including but not limited to): IT Operations & Development, IT infrastructure, Applications and/or databases, security information. Having knowledge in Banking and Finance, information technology or risk management.
- Knowledge of IT products, services & applications in the Banking and Finance industry
- Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, CMDB is an advantage
- Experience in Change Management, Project Management, Software Development, Data Analysis in financial institutions
- Skills
- Good communication and presentation skills in both Vietnamese and English is prefered
- Good communications, problem solving and management skills
- Can work as an individual or as a team member, under stressful conditions, good teamwork attitude
- Responsible, Proactive and Professional ethic
- Relevant Experience
- Total 3 to 5 years of experience and at least 2 years of experience in one of the following fields: change management, software development management, quality management (QA), project management.
- Working experience in the IT department of the financial and banking industry is an advantage.
