VPBS PRIVATE BANKING – Overview
VPBS Private Banking has a vision to be the first ever private bank offering and an industry leader in Vietnam. Its mission is to rise above the domestic market competition and transform the perception of financial services in Vietnam. The first to differentiate with a truly unique, innovative and powerful offerings, that caters to an underserved country’s most affluent individuals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND ACCOUNTABILITY’S
- The Wealth Advisor is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, comprehensive financial advice and a wide array of products and services to High-Net-Worth (HNW) clients, who have a minimum account size of $500,000 (10 billion VND). He/she has the following duties, but not limited to:
- Acting as a brand ambassador of VPBS Private Banking, creating and implementing action plans to develop new business (achieving a target of new HNW clients/month) and broaden existing relationships, including the establishment of internal/external networking and referral programs.
- Delivering exceptional client service and daily relationship management of HNW clients by establishing trusted and lifelong relationships; gaining a deep understanding of client’s investment objectives, investable assets, time frame, risk tolerance; helping prioritize client’s financial goals.
- Delivering a comprehensive financial advice, needs-based approach to product recommendations.
- Through on-going trainings, developing expertise in technical and practical knowledge of the features/benefits of a broad array of banking, investing, insurance and other products and services. Then to demonstrate the ability to present these in a simple and clear manner to clients.
- Leveraging the specialists (in-house and our partners’ specialists), creating customized solutions across many spectrums such as banking, lending, investments, insurance, financial planning, real estate, etc. to help clients reach their goals and dreams.
- Exhibiting an in depth understanding of the credit risks associated with customized personal lending to a HNW clients; exhibiting a solid understanding of and adhere to risk management policies/procedures and regulatory, audit and compliance requirements.
- Proactively staying current on changes in market, economic and legislative trends, in order to update and advise clients accordingly.
- Responsible for personal and professional development as it related to private banking industry and the lifestyle of HNW clients.
Position requirements:
- Highest degree of integrity and ethics
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Fluent English (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, investment advisory/wealth management, including significant experience and familiarity working with HNW individuals and families or related fields
- A highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial person willing to build a business
- Excellent listening, writing, speaking and presentation (product presentation) skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, organization skills
- Effective business development and marketing skills
- Superior client engagement skills and diligence in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proven relationship management skills
- Extensive knowledge in wealth management or financial advise
- Strong team orientation; committed to being with VPBS Private Banking long-term
