I. Mô Tả Công Việc
The Data Governance Senior Officer provides operational support for the coordination and execution of data governance activities to drive adoption of data governance capabilities by the lines of Business.
The Data Governance Senior Officer will support Data Governance Manager in performing the following:
- Act as a point of contact to ensure data requirements are assessed and understood in order to complete business needs.
- Work closely with business data owners and users to establish data quality metrics and thresholds.
- Monitor and measure data quality across line of business to provide visibility of current status and improvement opportunities
- Assess current data gaps versus desired states or standards. coordinate with business data stewards to enhance & drive change to improve data at the source; establish the root cause of data issues, quantify the impact, develop remediation plans and oversee to resolution
- Identify and manage the resolution of data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency and completeness in a cost-efficient and timely manner
- Analyze new requirements & change request pertaining to creation/changes of new/existing data structure and provide appropriate decisions
- Work with Data Owners, Data Stewards and support & business functions to implement data cleansing activities on a regular time frame.
- Manage periodic (weekly, monthly) tactical data quality issue meetings and tracking communications
- Manage data governance presentations, metrics, dashboards and overall progress communications
- Develop & implement processes to continuously monitor data quality. Ensure that the data meets appropriate standards for completeness, accuracy, validity, timelines and relevance for intended use.
- Responsible for gathering information requirements, developing data glossaries and defining standards & rules to ensure data is complaint with the defined quality requirements within their assigned domain
II. Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Kiến thức/ Knowledge
Certificate/Degree: Bachelor Degree
Knowledge: Working knowledge in analyzing and resolving data issues, trends, or exceptions.
- Good knowledge & understanding of Data management systems & data repositories including data warehouses, data marts or business intelligence environments
- Good knowledge and understanding of Banking/Financial service industry
Experience: Minimum 2 years of working experience in Data Governance & Data Warehouse. Minimum 1 year of working experience in Banking/Financial Institutions
Kỹ năng chuyên môn/ Professional skills
- Experience in analyzing and resolving data issues, trends, or exceptions including data conformity, data governance, or data sensitivity aspects.
- Good knowledge & understanding of data quality and data governance policies, procedures and guidelines
- Good working knowledge of Banking Processes & system
