Bank of India has opened its Ho Chi Minh City Branch on 22nd July 2016. We are seeking CV/Resume from the experienced candidates for filling out the Position of General Accountant as per the details given below:
1. Trade Finance staff (Non-Managerial)
I) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Full knowledge of the subject of letters of credit, bank guarantees, handling of trade documents, trust receipts, shipping guarantee etc.
2. Process customers’ request for issuance of letter of credit including that of standby letter of Credit, guarantees, negotiation of export documents in Bank’s Core Banking;
3. Verifying documents ensuring compliance with LC terms.
4. Processing payment of export documents proceeds to the collecting Bank;
5. Creation of SWIFT messages.
6. Follow up overdue import/export bills and deal with customers to resolve problems relating to discrepancies spotted on import/export bills;
7. Timely updation of both internal and external policy governing trade finance activities;
8. Reporting to the Central Bank as per extant guidelines;
II) SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
a) Bachelor or higher degree from University in economics, Banking, Accounting etc.
b) 2 - 3 years’ work experience in the Bank as Trade Finance Staff;
c) Thorough knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP 98, UCC 522 and URDG 758
d) Strong communication skills
e) Up to date knowledge of current trade finance operating practices and procedures.
f) Sound understanding of banking, foreign exchange, and treasury functions.
2. RELATIONASHIP MANAGER- CREDIT-SME & RETAIL LOANS (Non-managerial)
I) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) The staff will be responsible for marketing various Retail & wholesale credit products to SME & Retail customers and also will be accountable for the entire credit granting process.
b) Developing and maintaining customer relationship, approach new customers and conduct credit evaluation application.
c) Assessing overall Credit Eligibility of customer based on the financials and securities to be mortgaged & recommend the case to higher authority for approval/sanction.
d) Loan Documentations and creation of mortgage of securities with the Authority.
e) Achieving budget on profit in order to reach business target.
f) Evaluation of the assets to be mortgaged to the Bank.
g) periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers
h) Cross selling of other products of the Bank to the customers.
II) SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
a) Bachelor or higher degree from University in economics, Banking, Accounting etc.
b) 2 - 3 years work experience in the Bank as RSM
c) Documentation, Disbursement & File Processing.
d) Knowledge on secured and unsecured loans.
e) Good communication and pleasing personality.
f) At least C level Degree in English or the equivalent
Salary for the above posts will be determined on the basis of experience and suitability.
Net Salary (After PIT) ranges between VND 9-11.50 Mn
