Job Description

Objective

[li]Recognize and measure risks which are burdens on the bank’s management.[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Make sure that internal capital adequacy and all kinds of risks are under control, and within the set up limits[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Support the management decision based on scenario analysis and special analysis about various issues.[/li][/ul]

Duties and responsibility

  1. Setting up risk limit

[ul]
[li]Establishing reasonable (affordable) draft about risk limit considering risk appetite of bank and setting up risk limit on each types of risk.[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Calculating the amount of risks compared to the risk limit.[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Assessing the internal capital adequacy of bank and calculating required capital.[/li][/ul]

  1. Measuring and analyzing credit risk
    [ul]
    [li]Carrying out scenario analysis and special analysis about various issues relating to credit risk[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Analyzing the present status of credit portfolio on a regular basis.[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Calculating risk weighted assets(RWA)[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Calculating indexes relating to assets soundness and loan provisions[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Operating credit evaluation models[/li][/ul]

  2. Measuring and analyzing liquidity & interest rate risk
    [ul]
    [li]Calculating liquidity & interest rate risk[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Calculating the volatility risk of corporate value and interest revenue according to interest rate change[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Analyzing the present structure of assets & liabilities by carrying out liquidity & interest rate analysis[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Conducting stress test relating to liquidity risk.[/li][/ul]

  3. Measuring and analyzing operation risk
    [ul]
    [li]Establishing policy & procedure relating to operation risk and managing them[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Calculating the amount of operation risk and required capital for operation risk.[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Managing internal loss data.[/li][/ul]

  4. Measuring and analyzing market risk
    [ul]
    [li]Calculating bank-wide and each product market risk limit[/li][/ul]

  5. Loan review
    [ul]
    [li]Review loan customers subject to monitoring check up[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Reporting the detected problems[/li][/ul]

  6. Managing the risk management procedures and regulations.
    [ul]
    [li]Establishing regulations regarding to risk management timely.[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Supporting the risk management committee activity.[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Seeking defects of present risk management methodology and process.[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Reviewing and analyzing risk factors regarding to new products, new business and changing regulations.[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Making reports regarding to state of the management and risk management.[/li][/ul]

  7. Managing the risk management systems
    [ul]
    [li]Managing the risk management systems to secure they are running correctly[/li][/ul]
    [ul]
    [li]Suggesting for system upgrade for more appropriateness[/li][/ul]

  8. May perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

[ul]
[li]B.A or higher education in Banking, Finance, Economics[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Practical knowledge of risk management[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Knowledge of derivatives[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Practical knowledge of financial products[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Practical knowledge of ALM[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Practical knowledge of market risk[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Practical knowledge of credit risk[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Practical knowledge of financial management[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Practical knowledge of finance mathematics[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Skills of statistic analysis[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Skills for credit analysis[/li][/ul]
